Statement about AOAP Submitted Artwork
I have submitted two artworks in different mediums for this year's auction, linked together by the use of gold. My puffin postcard is an oil painting on a gold background on wood, highlighting the beautiful wildlife in the UK. The second postcard is a watercolour of a "Purple-Throated Mountaingem" hummingbird. The name of the bird comes from the male’s purple colouring. However, I wanted to highlight the female "Purple-Throated Mountaingem", which is actually green, blue and gold and is the one I have chosen to paint.
You must not reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell or exploit any works. In doing so, you endanger our relationships with artists, and directly jeopardise the charitable work we do.
